Cultivating Events

Planting Events
Reaping Events

DEFINITIONS:
Cultivating - Events designed to assist your congregation with intentional relationships with neighbors and contacts in order to become "friends of lost persons." These events are not designed to present the Gospel, but simply to get to know people and establish a basis for friendship. Such events might include: ladies' neighborhood teas, men inviting neighbors and friends to a sporting event, church-sponsored block parties, etc.

Planting - Events designed to bring God into your congregants relationships with lost ones. These events might include the showing of a Christian video, a neighborhood Bible study, a Christian concert, community compassion ministry, etc.

Reaping - Events designed to clearly and boldly present the Good News, with an opportunity for a response.
